Planned Giving is an effective way to have an impact on the future well-being of Phoenixville's Public Library. Individuals have many options available to them in making their estate plans such as bequests, and other planned giving vehicles.
Bequests, large and small, are a significant source of support for the Library. Simply stated, a bequest is the act of naming the Phoenixville Public Library in your will.

Annual Giving is the lifeblood of the Library. Each year, annual giving contributes unrestricted funds to the Library’s general operating budget to help offset expenses. Every gift, regardless of size, is important in enabling the Library to carry out its mission.

The Public Library of Phoenixville began its existence in 1896 when a group of prominent citizens took advantage of a law passed by Pennsylvania legislators making it legal for school districts to own and operate public libraries.
