The Library will be closed Monday, August 20 through Monday, September 3 during our continuing renovation.  During the closure new carpet will be laid throughout the building, new circulation desks will be installed and the new doubled-in-size computer center will be made ready for the community.  The Library’s non-fiction collection will also return at this time and be made available on September 4th.  One can check Phoenixville Public Library’s Facebook page for updates on the renovation project as well as the Library Foundation’s website, www.pplfoundation.org.  Don’t forget you can access the Library’s Over Drive system as well as its multiple databases from its website, www.phoenixvillelibrary.org.

During this period, the return bins outside the Library will still be available for use.  However, you will not be able to pick up your holds.  Held items arriving at the Library during our closure period will be sent to another library to the next patron on the hold list, and you will need to place your hold again.  To help prevent this situation, starting today we encourage you to select another Chester County library as a pickup location when you place your hold.  For more information, contact the Circulation Manager at 610-933-3013 x22.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  Thank you for your patience during our renovations.  We look forward to serving you even better when we reopen.
