Survey open until February 24as the Chester County Department of Mental Health invites county residents to take a brief online survey to help them better understand the strengths and needs of the current mental health system.

PA Launches Online Vaccine Eligibility Tool

Pennsylvania has launched a new online tool — “Your Turn” — to help you determine when it’s your turn to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Pennsylvania.  If it is your turn, the tool will direct you on how to find a vaccine provider.  Access this tool here:  https://covidportal.health.pa.gov/s/Your-Turn

Below you will find February’s Phoenixville Food Insecurity Team (PFIT) calendars in English and Spanish. I would like to point out the additional hot meals found on Sundays as well as evening hours for the school meal distributions found on Tuesdays.

COVID-19 Vaccine Pre-Registration Form for Chester County Residents

The Chester County Health Department announces that residents of Chester County ages 16 and older can pre-register for COVID-19 vaccine at chesco.org/covidvaccine. If you are age 65+ and previously completed the form, you do NOT need to submit the form again – the Department has your information. If you are age 16-64 with a high-risk medical condition (see form for list of conditions) and you previously submitted your information, please submit the form again. For more information on COVID-19, go to chesco.org/coronavirus.

Guide to Getting a COVID Vaccine

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has established a website guide to getting the COVID vaccine.  Available at Getting the COVID Vaccine | PA.GOV, the website helps you check to see if you’re eligible for the vaccine and to find a vaccine provider to schedule an appointment.

Free Income Tax Prep Available

Life Transforming Ministries partners with the IRS to offer the VITA program to taxpayers throughout Chester County. This program offers free tax preparation help to low and moderate income households.
